The Cougs are what???

To wrap up my all sports day, I watched the WSU Cougar/Arizona Wildcats basket ball game.  Congrats to the Cougs for knocking off 'Zona in Pullman. They are now 14-2 and 3-1 in the Pac-10. WSU is a very underated team and they will surprise a lot of schools...including Oregon.  I mean, they almost knocked off UCLA  IN LA!   Iolani alum Deriick Low has really impoved his play.  He didn't have a good night shooting the ball tonight and he did have some turnovers, but he had a pretty good night overall.  And, may I add, I never realized how handsome Coug coach Tony Bennett is!  Wow, talk about a HAWT coach.

Man, that was a rollercoaster of a game.  My emotions went from High to Low and back to High in the fourth quarter.  What an end to the game.  Who would have thought the Pokes would botch the potential game winning field goal?  Are you freaking kidding me?  Unbelievable.  But, I'll take it!  Woo hoo.  Un-freakin' real.  Maybe this is the lucky break that the Seahawks need to finally get them back on track.  'Hawks don't find out who they play until tomorrow's Giants/Eagles game.  And to support my buds in Arizona & Philly....GO EAGLES.

I still can't get over the vicotry.

I watched the Duck/UCLA game this morning.  It was an unusually early start for a game.  11am.  The Ducks pretty much led all the way and held on for the win!  Aaron Brooks had another stellar day.  Marty Leunen also had a solid game.  Bryce Taylor, Chamberlain Oguchi also had a good game.  Super frosh Tajuan Porter had an off day shooting, but he had an awesome 3 point shot that he launched at least 5' behind the pro line.  Too bad they couldn't beat the Trojans on Thursday.  But, I'll take the win over the Bruins!

I'm watching the game tomorrow afternoon.  With the way the Seahawks have been playing, I don't have full confidence that they are going to win.  I keep saying "Maybe this is the week everything will click".  Yeah, I've been saying that since week 3.  Anyhoo....GO SEAHAWKS!

And so it begins.  I think I'm limiting myself to two pools this year.  One for the office and one for Outsports.  I'm thinking Illinois/Duke with Illinois going all the way, but I'm not quite solid on that pick yet.

Wow, why haven't I heard of him?  He only won Gold in the hammer throw at the Athens Olympics!  Very nice.

Seattle Storm 2004 WNBA Champions!

Congratulations to the Seattle Storm for bringing Seattle it's frist major sports championship in 25 years!
They beat the Connecticut Sun 74 - 60 last night at Key Arena. Seattle guard Betty Lennox was the Series MVP. Way to go Storm!
