I've been very tardy posting these so this is mty brief recap that I wrote on May 4th.
I was starting to write my Cha Cha report but as I was typing it, I
realized that I just didn't care! Horrible final 5. And I thought last
year's Final 5 was lame.
1.
Bo. The only "professional" one remaining. Bo is as Bo does. Not the
best singer, but he has that certain something that the others lack.
And
as much as I didn't like Constantine, I missed him this week. He was
awesome on Ellen. He sang an acoustic version of "My Funny Valentine"
It's time for a rocker to win AI.
Big Drop to:
2. Carrie.
Same as always. Very good voice. But lame to watch. No connection to
any song that she sings and Simons finally gets it right by saying
she's robotic. Bleep Bleep.
3. Vonzell. Second song better than
that cutesy 1st song. I don't know what people see in her. Very
pleasant personality, very pretty but I don't get her at all. She
doesn't have a voice that I would say "Oh that's Vonzell"
4.
slingblade. Mmm Hmmm. If this AI gig doesn't work out he can save that
all in black outfit for when he becomes "Da Enforcer" with the mob...oh
excuse me, when he goes into "business" for his "uncle"
5.
Anthony. A total mess. His second song was better than the first, but
too little, too late. It was predictable and just goes to show that
this guy has no star power and would be better off as "the Cute One" in
a boy band.
That's it. That was your Top 5, people. Makes you want to puke, no?
And
by the way, deep down inside, didn't you wish Carrie would have sang
"Hollaback Girl" for her second song? I think I would have pissed in my
pants.

goes? Better yet, who cares? Probably Vonzell because people will do

It's toture
watching the arrogant prick Scott last another week, but in a twisted
morbid way, it's hilarious. What a joke of a season.
