AmIdol Week 2 - The Women

Hi Kids,

Sorry this is late, but the Cha Cha Cha kid is still under the weather so this recap will be short & bitch...sweet.

Aloha: Girlfriend must have discovered a blow dryer because she had some big ass hair going on. Not the best, singing wise, but she's got a spark.

Lindsey: Better vocally this week. Interesting how she wore her Jaclyn Smith Teddy Collection as one blouse. Yawn. Still think she should add Sin to her last name and vamp into a sex siren. Meow.

Jessica: No silly costume tonight, except for that 200 thread count sateen blouse that she chose to wear. Was that made from Diana DeGarmo’s leftover fabric? Good vocals. Bonus points for finding that matching blue eye shadow.

Mikalah: Very surprising song selection. Subdued, but powerful. This girl has star quality. Not the best voice, but she's got that certain something that most of the other girls and many of the guys don't have.

Celena: No, no, no. Whenever anyone tries to do a Faith Hill song, they fail. It happens every season. Celena “I’m Perky Just Like Rachel” Rae Ray Rei, the lights may be goin’ down on you tonight. EV-O-O!!! Or should that be, EV-Go-GO!

Nadia: Lookin’ fab. Singing “My Love”. Interesting song choice but I like it. Not as good as last week, but at least she’s interesting to watch.

Amanda: Ooop Ooop. Disco night! “Turn The Beat Around” MUCH better performance than last week. She looks great. I just wished she would have cha cha'd her tush a little more. Isn’t she supposed to be an experienced stage performer? Where’s the Showgirl?
Where is Gracie Lou Freebush when you need her (Miss Congeniality II opening soon in a theater near you).

Janay. Poor child. She’s just lost on stage. What the hell is she trying to do? Too bad Missy’s show is wrapping up tonight but then again, Janay probably wouldn’t even qualify for that show. Fame 2, anyone? And where is Harlemm Lee and Shannon Bex!

Carrie: Oh my heck? What the h-e-double hockey sticks is she singing? Is she singing a song by that heathen Janis? This isn’t the secular music of Jeebus! This is not the Good Values Christian Music that we expect from the 2005 Miss 100% Got Milk Girl! Why, it’s the music of the Devil! It’s the music of Sssssssssssssatan!!! Burn Carrie Burn!

Vonzell: Ok, girl need to get a new hairdo because personally, I don’t think looking like Omorossa is a good thing. So V sings some song that’s tough to sing. Some gospel sounding song and tries her best to bring some credibility to her performance. But, she just sounds shrill and looks like she’s trying to hard. But she’s not trying hard enough to not look like Omorossa who is, after all, the Devil Incarnate. Burn Carrie Burn!

So, another underwhelming performance by the ladies. 
Cha Cha Cha Gold:  Mikalah
Cha Cha Cha Silver:  Nadia, Jessica
Cha Cha Cha Bronze: Amanda, and I guess Aloha

All the rest can wash the panties of the ones mentioned above.

Tonight’s results show should be interesting. We may see some singers leave who don’t deserve to leave (please, please please don’t let it be Joe “The Bulge” Murena).
